Local Licensing
Nearly 30% of Florida’s workforce requires an occupational license to hold their job. These requirements can differ from area to area meaning that a person can take a job in city but not in a neighboring city because of additional training requirements and fees. These bills would standardize the process allowing anyone who is licensed in one are to be able to work anywhere in the state. Neither the House nor Senate version advanced to their respective floor, dying in committee.
