Preemption of Local Occupational Licensing

With nearly 30% of Florida’s workforce required to have an occupational license to hold their job, there are substantial barriers for many people wishing to practice their skills. These bills would standardize the requirements back to the original standards of the state, removing additional burdens placed at the local level. The House passed HB 3 but the Senate did not take the bill up for a vote.
