Nearly 30% of Florida’s workforce requires an occupational license to hold their job. These requirements can differ from area to area meaning that a person can take a job in city but not in a neighboring city because of additional training requirements and fees. These bills would standardize the process allowing anyone who is licensed in one are to be able to work anywhere in the state. Neither the House nor Senate version advanced to their respective floor, dying in committee.

Beverage Law 583

Current law regulates the size of container that wine must be sold in, limiting consumer choice. This package of bills would remove that regulation expanding options for those who might smaller, or larger bottles. Unfortunately, none of these pieces of legislation were advanced to the Governor to sign.
